Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is Hiring an Employee Relations Specialist Near Clinton, MO

The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for organization wide employee relations. Responsibilities:

  • Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends/concerns with senior management
  • Implements, conducts, facilitates, and/or analyzes results of employee morale and retention initiatives which include incentive programs, stay interviews, career development meetings, employee surveys and exit interviews
  • Guides and coaches managers, supervisors, senior leaders, and the Human Resources department on communication strategies; assists with challenges to include morale, turnover, absenteeism, etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in employee retention, morale, recognition, productivity and incentives
  • Participates in new employee orientation
  • Responsible for all aspects of employee recognition awards (employee of the month/year and leader of the year) to include voting committee, nominations, scheduling presentations, and ordering awards
  • Serves as the main contact for employee advancement inquiries to include education on careers, scholarships and educational opportunities
  • Coordinates yearly employee engagement survey
  • Oversees the Employee Assistance Program
  • Reviews and responds to unemployment claims with appropriate documents and attends hearings as requested
  • Manages online employer review platforms
  • Leads diversity and inclusion initiatives

Education/Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Profession in Human Resources (PHR preferred)
One to three years' Human Resources experience or experience in a similar field required
